My Voodoo Mistake

My Voodoo Mistake

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

I won her at a seance on halloween night
I wanted revenge out of spite
It was time for thoughts of those i like least
Tonight i control my voodoo beast.

She came to life with a black magic spell
But she turned my life to a living hell
When taking joy from those I abused
My voodoo doll was not amused.

At first we were the perfect mates
Her conscience turned, it's now me she hates
My voodoo doll is in control
She stops at nothing to break my soul.

My aches increase my body in pain
I never when she will strike again
Pains in my back my head my feet
She's really stitched me up a treat.

Next time I'll know better than to seek revenge
I will look at the message, that it sends
Secret revenge that includes voodoo
Can turn its magic back on you.
