Trouble Letting GoA Poem by DEAN FARNELL(Inspired by the film character Norman Bates)My mothers been still now for 10 long weeks I talk to her often but she never speaks I'm trying to feed her but she's off her food She ignores what I say, or just being rude. The flies in the house are out of control Her body's now wrinkled and feels very cold I've asked her to wash, but she doesn't bother What on earth's happened to dear old mother. Not long ago she was moving about Since she went stiff she never goes out I feel all alone now but also I'm not Since the day that mother decided to stop. I sit with her daily, she's not very well Sometimes i get whiffs of an unpleasant smell I've tried to be tactful about mothers odour She always just blanks me whenever I've told her. She's slept for so long now i can't seem to wake her I wish things things were back the way they once were I can't understand why she's frozen in time Please wake up sweet mother of mine. © 2015 DEAN FARNELLFeatured Review
