It Was Christopher Lee That Frightened Me

I Was just 13 when my father let me, Watch hammer horror films on TV, Oh the werewolves, mummies, were never a worry, Or Frankenstein's monster, or the odd zombie,
With those blood red eyes and those dripping fangs, There was this giant of a man, with shovel like hands, Forget Kruger, or the odd zombie, It was Christopher Lee that frightened me.
I'd shut all the doors and shiver with fright, And stare at the window all through the night, I'd go to bed but i'd lie awake, With my piece of garlic, hammer and stake.
That dripping blood and those eerie screams, Were sure to wreck my childhood dreams, Michael Myers didn't bother me, Or Jason, Karloff, or the odd zombie
It was a giant of a bloke in a long black cloak With a rubber bat that looked a joke, So forget old Freddie, and Lugosi It was Christopher Lee that frightened me.
