I Hate Sundays

I Hate Sundays

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

Sundays are so dull and boring
All day long I end up snoring
The highlights just a Sunday roast
But not for me I just have toast

Sunday please just go away
You're a pointless waste of a proper day
School and work just hours away
Oh I loathe you so Sunday

Kids all argue like we did
A day out costs a 100 quid
Traffic jams It's rain or sun
Sundays never have been fun

Hours go slow Its hell to kill
What shall I do, so long to fill
A minute Is like a thousand years
Sundays you bring me close to tears

On Sundays I want to slit my wrists
Or sleep or paint or just get pissed
I need your help please everyone
To banish Sundays to room 101
