Britain's Got TalentA Poem by DEAN FARNELL
I'd played my guitar for years
When B.G.T. appeared I could do no wrong When I play Simon Cowell my song He pulled his trousers high I wait for his reply But his buzzer turned to red My rock star days were dead But I can't get my head around Why Simon turned me down Try looking for a new career As your not gonna find one here Now the worlds missed out on me I was the next Bruce Springsteen I upped and turned around All Simon did was frown I turned to Ant and Dec They put their arms around my neck That Simon's got It wrong It was bloody good that song Well the dream of all that fame Will never come my way again So It's goodbye B.G.T It was never meant to be
