Your Deadly DecisionA Poem by DEAN FARNELL
Stayed at a cottage long ago
It was old, remote, somewhere to go No sounds were heard night or day But Foxes, Owls, out for prey Noise was uncommon out In the sticks But something was lurking In the mist The phone line down not used for years The knock on the door confirmed my fears My spooky tale wrote with precision Will help you make your last decision Someone will meet their last demise Who lives or dies you will decide I picked up a poker, I asked who's there? I opened the door his eyes did stare A bar was smashed upon a head Now It's up to you which man lay dead
