My Spooky Friends

My Spooky Friends

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

My friends are back I knew in life
My nerves are at the're peak
My see through bunch of buddies
Arrived here just last week

I hear them laughing late at night
And doors begin to creak
Ghosts just waiting for the're friend
Don't like It when I sleep

The sods will try and wind me up
By moving all my things
Joining them seems like a ball
Since they earned the're angels wings

I miss them all so very much
They come for me to play
I wish I could all join you boys
My time will come one day

It's a bitter sweet old feeling
Since they took their final breath
Lads you'll have to wait awhile
I'm just not ready for you yet
