The Ghosts Advice

The Ghosts Advice

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

The figure cast no shadow,
Although the moon was bright,
It stood and spoke a sentence,
You need to see the light.

I was the one it's chosen,
To share its ghostly news,
I could tell it was not human,
As I listened to its views.

The ghost explained in detail,
Not to waste time with us dead,
Just concentrate on living,
And living life instead.

Your life's a precious jigsaw,
Its a gift that you should treasure,
The rarest thing is living,
And ghosts will last forever.
