The Cards

The Cards

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

So many cards,
A popular guy,
He must be adored,
I wondered why.
I wish I was loved,
Like the Birthday boy,
So I knocked on his door.
To wish him joy.
It all came to light,
When I gave him regards,
His wife had passed on,
Hence all the cards.
