The Night The Spirits Dance

The Night The Spirits Dance

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

Tonight is the night of the dance,
When spirits all take to the floor,
They twist and they waltz with no cares,
Its like nothing they dreamed of before.

Some will be there without loved ones,
The dance will not tempt them to stray,
The spirits will always be loyal
They'd just morph into one anyway.

The dance will be just fun and laughter,
Without all the cheating and passion,
Its a shame that down here with the living,
These dances are not in the fashion.

The spirits will laugh and be happy,
A night when they won't feel so lonely,
It fills in some time while they wait,
Till the day they unite with their only.
