The Life Of Brian's

The Life Of Brian's

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

She asked for a light,
As I walked In the park,
Just a month later,
She'd stolen my heart.

I would just have missed her,
If I'd not left my keys,
We were are so happy,
I'm ever so pleased.

But Just a year later,
My woman has left,
She met a new fella,
But I've no regrets.

As I'm reading her letter,
"I'm writing this crying"
"It just sort of happened"
So now I'm with Brian.

At first I was gutted,
Then realized I'm free,
Now Brian's my hero,
For rescuing me.

The very next spring,
My heart is sighing,
I'm back In love,
So I thank you Brian.

If it wasn't for all Brian's,
All sniffing around,
The true love of our lives,
May never be found.
