The Shame

The Shame

A Poem by DEAN FARNELL

I felt such horror
I wish I could die
Why must they do this
I never knew why

The act was so shocking
Watched by my friends
Now Its just helpless
To make amends.

Defenseless and young
I had no voice
It had to be done
I had no choice

My fringe was chopped
The clothes obscene
The grin was forced
I want to scream

When I told my parents,
They laughed in my face,
I feared for my future,
But now It's too late.

If anyone shares them
They will suffer my wrath
If ever they publish
My school photographs.

This is very clever. It captures the truth about school photos so well.
