ISLAND OF PAIN

ISLAND OF PAIN

A Poem by Olufix

Surrounded by the sea of death,
The island of pain thrusting me to drown in there.
The trees, monkeys and other beings,
Wanting my knees to bend and plead.
Bills questioning me.
Debts harassing me.
Anguished in pains tyranny.

From palace to dinning with low-lives.
From guest to pest.
Serving those who put me to rest.
The irony of life had given me a tour
Round my new location:
The island of pain.
How, when, why?

Deserted and lonely,
Pondered my life holily.
Blank and light for minutes,
Concluded, I caused this.
Plotted my exit from the island.
Built a raft of humility
And made paddles of faith.

I'm discharged and acquainted.
Your master-hood terminated.
Lessons taught.
Lessons learnt.
My prosperity is looming.
Influence is booming.
I'm moving.
