She told me she'd never count the stars for any man. Because it's a pointless task that can't be accomplished. No one should waste their life chasing another. I told her to keep watching the stars because there's infinite beauty out there to be found. I intentionally misunderstood and played myself for the fool. Said the boy screaming into the void.

 

I sat in a place of magic and decided to take a shot. At that moment she decided to shut me out. The universe is a cruel puppeteer. Said the boy screaming into the void.

 

If I’d have told her she was beautiful I think she wouldn’t have believed me. Amazing what we cannot see. Or what we believe we do see. Said the boy screaming into the void.
