I’d scribble riddles

To tickle the funny bones

Of those

Who see no joy

In sunrise

I’d author expectations

Inject inspiration

Into a soul

With no vision

A spirit crushed

By criticism

 

If I was a pen…

 

With each stroke

I would illustrate hope

With each quote

Inscribe peace

On the hearts

Of men

 

If I was a pen…

 

My perfect penmanship

Would scintillate the masses
With manuscript that that uplifts

Cause thoughts to shift

Preconceptions to rift

 

I’d write with divinity

Hold you captive

With lyrical energy

If God be in me

Thru me

Who could out do me

I’d send

Hate

Haters..

To a swift end

Bend mentalities

Of those stuck

In the Matrix

I’d be

Truly more mighty than the sword

Deadly with written word
