How I treasure your hair’s every twist
I close my eyes
I fantasize
It shouldn’t be like this

Stroking much more than my ego
Yeah.. You know…
And I know
Sometimes I wish I could be more bold
They say mouths don’t get fed
If you keep them closed
Or is this the way it’s supposed to be?
Daydreaming of you holding me
Stimulating my mental
Got me feelin all sentimental.
My sweet essential
My queen…
But my dream is what I guess you’ll stay
And I’ll cherish you from afar
Since you didn’t look my way
At least not today
I’m not even saved as a friend
Tommorow….
Mmm… tomorrow
I’m gonna really write that note
And I might actually push “send”

oh i love this.. i love that inner monologue of what WOULD be said, what will be said.. err.. somenday

the ending is spot on, and with a little smoothing here and there, this piece is done. but then, the rugh edges also give it a vulnerable raw quality

Wow.. such flow of emotion from the heart and soul for a crush.. not even a friend.. from a distance.. you mention you might just keep them as a dream and you fantasize about them. Many experience this and sometimes it is best to keep as a fantasy as in reality no one is perfect... could destroy that perfect picture.. but then again they might be the "one"... these are the things we weigh out and consider when faced in such a situation.. definitely leaves one wondering if you will write them and hit send though.. who knows maybe there'll be a sequel to this writing!!!
