I was surprised by the teardrop image projected by the footprint of this poem. A tear may also be formed by as condensation within a cloud. I was inspired to write this tear drop poem for you as a gift whereby I use the idea of condensation: You may keep this poem as your own since half of it is already your own:
Teardrop
A
fog
within
the cloud
of one's soul
that condenses
upon particles of fear
where it cascades
as it builds till
in the end
it's but
a sad
tear
Very nicely penned, DCT, right down to the shape of the teardrop itself. I like the way you analyze the teardrop itself, from a drop of a person's soul, to the fallen tear...it contains so much. Another beautiful piece that leaves me pondering...a piece of our soul falls through tears from the window of our soul.
