Diamond splendor spattered against pitch black As soft breeze blows, rolling through time as chiffon Leaves rustle, mimicking dry hair in dessert drift As crystal ball glow, enlightens shadows Fog creeps in, grabbing at the earth As fireflies dance, free Moments of tranquility pass While we rest, in our dreams © 2010 DBURKE |
