THE BEAUTY OF NIGHT

THE BEAUTY OF NIGHT

A Poem by DBURKE

Diamond splendor spattered against pitch black

As soft breeze blows, rolling through time as chiffon

Leaves rustle, mimicking dry hair in dessert drift

As crystal ball glow, enlightens shadows

Fog creeps in, grabbing at the earth

As fireflies dance, free

Moments of tranquility pass

While we rest, in our dreams
