MY GARDEN OF WORRIES

MY GARDEN OF WORRIES

A Poem by DBURKE

Stunning are my roses
Despite the season
Sparkling in the sun
With diamonds of dew

Except for the one
I kept closest to me
It was wilted
So I plucked it

That wilted rose
Was placed with the others
And in time my garden
Was in uniform glory

Where I plucked the old rose
A new one was strategically Placed
by God himself
Close to me

I gave him my worst
He gave me his best
The new rose was brilliant
And didn’t need pruning

I like it a lot. A love the part about "uniform glory". Excellent imagery
