Like a MONSTER

In a cage

Claws rending iron astray

Tear the iron bars AWAY.

You cant hold it.

Its a monster

A monster of MEN

The monster in me

Tearing everything away

Tearing ME to shreds.

this poem reminds me of the song Monster. i like how you bold some of the words to put more of an empathize on them. and it also kinda makes it more seriious like because the monster inside that they put under lock and keep has finally grown in strength and destroyed the cage, meaning the you cant hold it in anymore kinda like holding something in till it explodes. And it ends up tearing you to shred. overall i really like this poem because i can relate to having to hide the monster which i call a shadow and try to keep it from showing.
