Sweet Nothings

Sweet Nothings

A Poem by ArchaicDreamer
"

Sweet nothings whispered in your ear...

"
Sweet nothings whispered in your ear
everything you want to hear
everything you need to know,
her hair brushing against your nose

Sweet nothings talked in the night
no more sleep, no more fright
'till the doorbell rings out loud
don't answer from your murky cloud

Sweet nothings calmfully spoke
until the morning did awoke
and peacefully you stood
in the early morning sun

And you continue to astound. It's very good poetry, but if I were you, I would rethink the middle stanza, doesn't quite do it for me. But the last stanza just brings it home, it exudes a certain calmness which you cannot help but enjoy. Great effort! :)
