The Silence In Between

As the voice roars within my head

I feel the beat as if it's thunder.

Something soars above the rest 

leaving me here to wonder 

as the silence closes in around me. 

I feel that I can't escape

before it poses as a threat.

It peels away as the music returns

intertwining within itself 

as it all comes back together.
