The Spider

The Spider

A Poem by D.Truelove
"

An attempt at stringing haiku together.

"
Lovely Butterfly
Only to be caught in the
Web of a spider

Chains of silken thread
He weaves them for you sweet one
You'll belong to him

The purity of
an absolute helplessness
Writhing, struggling

All hope dies in this
moment, all thats left is for
her to die in this

And then the game's done
Sinking his fangs in his claim
Taste satisfaction

The spider moves on
How cold and lonely the night
Without company

So much life in this write. I like the tangled emotions.
