Sympathy

Sympathy

A Poem by D.Truelove
"

An idea for a sympathy card.

"
Life is like a see-saw
Simple yet profound
Sometimes you're in the air
And others on the ground

Let us appreciate the ride
Through the highs and lows
Those who come into our lives
Those who's time it is to go

Now your see saw seems to seat one
While the wind blows and the sun beams
Illuminate what is forever gone
But not everything is as it seems

Love will lift you up again
Though it seems like you're all alone
I'll be with you to the end
You won't have to face this on your own

Very inspiring. This is too good to be just a sympathy card.

Very wise words and an excellent poem. As you know, someone always comes along who has no see saw and will gladly join you on yours.

This is such a great piece. I'd have to say, what caught my attention the most was how beautifully it rhymed. The rhymes weren't forced, and it was such a smooth read. It was true though, and I love how you compared life to a see-saw. It's so obvious, like see-saws were made JUST to help us put life into perspective. Such a wonderful piece.

And a great sympathy card it would be.
