Love from a farA Poem by D.a reflection on distance of a love
Shedding the skin of the slithering beast of time,
Thinking about the curves on her body, how they must be divine. Intricate with purpose like engravings on an oaken statue. The grey-scale world holds vibrancy as these moments accrue. Abnormalities alone couldn't deter the bond, Only the distance between whence we were spawned. The thought of you enough keeps my brain in a centrifuge, I wish we could not be two apart but hold a unified view. Keep me in your heart until the day our physical frameworks can correspond. Til our souls can collide and intertwine memories Au fond. Together or just by one another, I want to hear you one day chime, Maybe one day, our love will be each others paradigm. © 2019 D.Author's Note
