Fert le ringlets of g ld, you
Of a m sk wroug t in black
With eyes th t sw llow all --

Reviews

I would suggest only removing letters from inside a word, not the first or last letter. That way, the poem does not become entirely cryptic and only gains the semblance of a puzzle. After all, poems, even when they are puzzles, are puzzling in their meaning, not in their portrayal.

Also, I assumed that the missing letters would form a word, but they did not. Are they supposed to?
