I absolutely love this, and how it took us through Gotham! This felt just like watching an episode of one of the shows, and I have to say, the last few lines were brilliant. There's always something hidden about Batman, and I love how you interpreted that. The visuals are wonderful and how you get a taste of Batman and all of the others entirely without it being too much. I could see this as an opening poem for a full book of these!
I had an extremely happy time reading this those old action comics are the best and I see a very good ghostly resemblance to yours comic book stories that have a poetic side to it I like that... Exelsior!
Certainly a Batman fan, aren't you! I enjoyed the personal creative addition you presented here. Of all the comic book heroes, Batman is certainly the most mysterious and alluring, having just the right mixture of light and dark. Heroically brooding, comes to mind. Great flow here, Cyprian. Much enjoyed! :)
"Every head turns, they see the Batmobile.
They see Batman in the driver's seat, that's me.
There's more than what meets the eye,
But that's something only she can see."
As a Batman fan, I love this first-person account of his/your death-defying ride through Gotham in the infamous Batmobile! Saving Catwoman from the Joker too-what else could one ask?! Great dialogue, cadence, rhyme! I can see the illustrative POW, BOOM and even SPLAT as I read on. Iconic write Cyprian-Kudos!
I love the sound of hitting the turbo wwwwwwwwaaaaaaahhhhhhwwwwwaaaaaaaa!!!!
you have created quite a story here and I hope Hollywood is paying you a decent salary for your efforts
They're not!!!!
Do you need an agent????
Reading your words was like watching a mini-movie! Batman, Alfred, the Batmobile, and romance thrown in. Who could ask for anything more? :) I liked this a lot. Your imagery was great. Lydi**
The images were vivid and full of emotion. It reads like a comic book. It also puts the reader into the head of one character whose mind and thought process is pretty mysterious.

This was so beautifully written. I love how it feels like you're in the story as you're reading it. Additionally, could've just been me, but when I read the above lines, they hit different. Almost super relatable in the sense of putting on a fake face for the crowds, but being real when being real is important. Truly a gem to read, and I loved it through and through. Keep up the good writing, would love to see more of your work in the future!!!
If you're not into reading but love movies, here's why you should give my poems a read:
I've been told many times that my writing is cinematic. I love movies and video games and I really aspire t.. more..
