He who bears the mark (I&II)

He who bears the mark (I&II)

A Poem by CyprianFinch
"

A very personal poem, so don't worry if it doesn't make a whole lot of sense; it's not meant to. It's about some of the events of the past year for me. Constructive criticism appreciated.

"

I

Strike down your crosses

For he who bears the mark

Fire branded once before

Fires burning three and four

Cast down your idols

For he who bears the mark

Lightning struck him once before

Thunderclaps call three and four

Deny all your prophets

For he who bears the mark

Stars aligning this once more

Supernovas three and four

II

Conflagrate to designate

Remission of the soul

Incinerate to proliferate

Three and four are whole

Decimate to dominate

Admonishment of life

Annihilate to permeate

Three and fourfold strife

Eviscerate to germinate

Seeds of barren field

Flagellate to cultivate

Three and four hearts healed

Apparently conflagrate isn't actually a word. Aside from that all criticism and questions welcomed.
