Untitled ConfusionA Poem by CcYoung teenager being haunted by his own mind
He's been sitting here for ages
Trying to control his rages He went sinning on his mind Happiness he thought he'd find He tried to be strong But he knew he was everything you call wrong Deep down he was just a troubled kid Only escape being vodka and weed In between the lines he'd tried to read But no words could have described his creed He thoughts not accepted by society His intelligence taken for insanity He tried to be normal at any cost But trying too hard had left him confused and lost Deep down he was just a depressed child Whose heart had been stopped from going wild He lost his soul day by day Everything about him was now left grey His thoughts, his smoke, his dreams Restless voices filling his head with screams He tried so hard to hang on and fight But that was difficult as he could not tell wrong from right Deep down he never wanted to be a mischievous boy But he couldn't help but treat society as a toy Hatred he started to reflect His loved ones; he started to neglect He spat words he would later on regret He refused the world and began to reject He tried to be holy But that was just another deplorable story Deep down he was just a clashed being Who's problems faded away by inhaling He was misunderstood Though his intentions were good If only he had been freed and let to fly He would not have to always stay high. © 2016 CcAuthor's Note
