Simply a case of rumors spread

The rumor is she was kidnapped
The rumor is she was killed
The rumor is they saw her on the streets selling drugs
The rumor is she got knocked up and disappeared
But the clear word was it was a rumor
Because all things are not as they appear
The truth is she ran
Ranaway from her fears
Ranaway from problems she could no longer control
But honestly who was too know
Because she was a quiet girl
Not known around town
And was never really down
They say she returned because she was caught
But again a rumor that was distrut
She turned herself in for responsibility
She believes nobody had to lose freedom for her
To avoid it all she simply stepped up
Into a simple case of trust
Turned herself in hopes of luck
A new start for a life
Now she can say everything is alright..
