Colors of the Rainbow

This poem was toward the relation of not really knowing who a person really is and eventually those true colors do appear.Along with things they once said that they didn't mean.

You are the colors to the rainbow

But in life everyones true colors do come out

Words you once said that sounded so true

Only later came to regret when you bloomed

Resilience was all that showed when the red flag came up

As we both became blue 

You backed out like the color yellow 

Suddenly the excuse is to slow down

Because the green was not there to support what was about to come around

But the true vibrance of the color violet appeared when you reversed your words

I couldn't predict where this steered

I guess the only color to end this with is orange because your true colors came out 

This felt pretty foreign 

But you are the colors of the rainbow still the joy to my pain but in exchange 

Unfortunately things might not be the same....
