My heart speaks for itself

Wrote this about a year ago. A lot has changed since I wrote this. But I still love the memories that are left behind.

 I knew there was something special about you when we first met.

I told myself, "I have to make her mine" and that's a bet.

I loved our conversations that went from dusk to dawn.

And even though we are so far apart, your soul reaches my heart.

Your precious voice wraps it self around my mind, that they get together and bind.

Now before, girls like you were never my type.

The blonde hair, blue eyes type of hype.

But you've got me infatuated with your look, it's just my new hook. 

But it ain't all about the outside, because your personality is what's got me surprised.

So full of life, and out there striving to be someone, 

And with an attitude that's fierce like a shotgun. 

 

Now I've got something serious to say, 

So I need you to hear me out real quick, k?

Baby, you don't need to put yourself through so much misery

Instead of letting it ruin you, empower over it.

Tell yourself everyday, that you're stronger than this

You'll over come it, and I can promise you that you won't go through this alone.

Like I was able to before, babe let me give you the love you deserve.

Let me make your heart the happiest it's ever been.

Our love isn't over, It's still there. Standing by waiting for the right moment to flaunt itself once again.

I won't stop pursuing you. What tore us apart is ridiculous. 

I will protect and help you. 

We left each other breathless.

 

Put your trust in me, you'll never regret it.

I just want to leave you thinking with the words I am writing.

He gave you the physical need you craved.

but he wasn't able to provide you with the emotion and love Im able to give to you.

I would never hurt someone as beautiful as you. 

 

So let go of the pain, dry away the tears, let me be there to wipe them away for you.

And let me provide you the love and happiness you oh so desire.
