God Sent

Religion is personal 

I pray to a God I believe in but only when I need it

Church is good but I can’t help but doze off

He knows this of me 

so

He sent you 

You believe in a God that loves 

You pray before meals and thank him for your blessings

You pay attention to Church like it is the pathway to life

He knows this of you 

so 

He sent you 

Together we believe in a God that loves

Together we pray to God in thanks of our blessings and pray harder when we are in need

Together we listen in Church and discuss the lesson afterwords

He knew this would happen

so 

He sent you

I believe in a God that will send help 

I believe I needed some guidance 

I believe I needed you 

He knew that of me

so 

He sent you to me
