Broken Love

She sits up at night with tear-filled eyes, and

wonders why? why do they fight? why does

he make her cry? why?  She hugs her pillow

tight and lets the tears fall.

 

The tears fall from her eyes like rain from the

sky. They reveal the pain she holds inside.

What once was a fairy tale, now just a dream.

A dream that happened so long ago it seems.

Her tears fade to silence as she began to

reminisce, what happened to their love?

how did things end up like this?

 

She used to love him, they used to

be best friends, but now she felt as

if their love was coming to an end.

She didn't want to let go, but she

didn't know what to do.

Her mind was so conflicted, but

she just wasn't ready to be through.
