Winter Snow

Winter Snow

A Poem by Cynical
"

Shallow attempts to follow a 10 syllable pattern, I think I managed or... Sort of, at the very least.

"
Mistral nights flow on by bringing calm winds,
A mellifluous tune mellows on by,
The cold night wind, as hush and thin as is,
Welcomes the mark of a new beginning.
Snowflakes make way to husk grounds valiantly,
Toppling the earthen in crisp kissed snow tufts,
Sastruga present in matutinal,
Greets the earth with frigorific welcomes.
Snowy teardrops flow on down in calmness,
Till' the morning dew of spring withers on -
The presence of snow, so to wave goodbye.
It is not gone forever, soon again,
We'll see its sacerdotal face once more.

Hahaha. And the obsolete words live on!

Excellent use of vocabulary throughout. And you have kept to the sequence that you desired till the poems conclusion.

Very lovely images that are taken to another level entirely with your choice of words.

A simple idea with a grand premise. Nice work!
