BLACKLIGHT

BLACKLIGHT

A Poem by Cyndy Robinson

The Debutante

You are my sunrise
purple bleeding black rainbows
radiating a halo of weeping rays

crashing in waves
of cindered sand and broken glass
reverberating the echo of silence.

Drowned in this barren beach
mirrored shards
of glass orbs frozen.

The suitor

Bows.
The wind's orchesta
croons a waltz of a bagpipes' wail

Blemished hands embrace
the metronome spinning
torment's tempo detonating a cacophonous beat

aphrodisiac's addiction
the jumble of a mismatched jigsaw piece
naked feet stumble, leaving...........

My Calling Card

in dew drops of gold and red
mist's teardrops enfold
in burning wings of fire

Consuming the sky
bathing the broken vessel.

Dusk breeds.
The sunset.
