KaliedescopeA Poem by Cyndy RobinsonFor Tim the only lead singer in my life.
At a distance me and you
a magnificent view through a blue tube turn the ring faint echo sings Cardboard Blues. Sparkly bling a mirror brings vibrant yellows and reds splintered fragments in shiny bed sunshine, passion the fashion I won't turn that ring The Blues I refuse to sing. Steel stringed images in green and blue someone bumped me changing hues money and sorrow follow me and you turn hollow the ring turned and all that's left is a song along in Power Blues I'm tone deaf. Heavy Metal black and grey discordant sounds a hangover's prey depression accessorized in chains of weep moisture ridden tears sog the pleat a fog of old newspaper rolled forever framed our paper mache soul the Blues echoing in my brain an unending repeating refrain broken ring unable to sing.
