My Crow

My Crow

A Poem by Pale Rose

No needle point for you,
you're a crowbar:
Blunt and hard, unable to bend.
Rather, you try to bend me.
Maybe I am already.

I knew the exact moment your
huge steel shaft came inside
my heart, splitting it in two.
By that one sharp thrust
my being was consumed
with agony and thoughts of you
and I spilled out
a red pool at your feet.

You tear me apart,
My shining Crow.

And by your blunt penetrating words
my heart fell out at your feet
and you walked over it.
I was already yours and you never knew--
Your words should mean nothing,
but you’ve left me with nothing
so they mean everything.

Oh, how I want to tear you apart,
My lovely Crow.

Pale Rose
Yay for unrequited feelings! "Crow" is an old name for "crowbar". I thought about using "iron crow" but I'm not sure...

Oooooh! I like this a lot.

I love it how it started out all love and everything but by the end, it feels she wanted vengeance. You could make a sequel of this poem where she would find this moron and destroy him. That'd be epic.

Anyway, spin-chilling stuff. :)
