Goodbye eternity

Goodbye eternity

A Poem by Pale Rose

Goodbye eternity.

Proudly fade,

Never taking breath,

Or feeling sunlight,

Seeing the stars,

Or knowing pain.

If you could speak,

I know you would thank me,

For keeping you away,

From this misguided world,

Which rejects those like us--

Rations for feelings,

Lighter with knowledge--

What kind of a life is hate,

With our savagery and guts,

Guiding our lives like facts?

So I said goodbye.

You silently float down,

Into forever,

Into nothing.

I think this is the story of someone's heart, I think if you can do that, then you can do great things. Good job and please continue writing.

I love the visualization as it refers to eternity. The
end, ..." into forever, into nothing" had me reading it again. Please keep writing and creating.

Poetry is the ultimate expression of humanity. It is the only tool we have to express the depth of our emotions and suffering. As for my own, I see the dark side of life and find it beautiful. I seek .. more..
