Words vs Actions

Words vs Actions

A Poem by Pale Rose

Words mean nothing
Actions or patterns?
Distance is troubling
Dangling above the cliff
The ground is somewhere
Even with closed eyes
And your turned cheek

Words mean nothing
Now, action! let go
Break the heavenly limb
Silence is better
Kissing the ground

Words mean nothing
On fire or cold
In air or with body
At bottom or top
Loud or silent

Words mean nothing
When we speak of love
Or when we fall.

It's kind of stream of consciousness, I'm sorry.

Words mean everyrhing to me and so is action/touch to a blind man! Still a subect worthy of debate. Have a good week end!

Excellent words, I feel the poem speaks to me for I thinks it's what we do, not what we say at times that makes a difference and impacts ourselves and others most. Please keep writing!
