A womans embrace

A womans embrace

A Poem by Cyanthinnis
"

Just something I was mulling over.

"
As I reach for you I smile. My heart hammering in my chest as I pull you close.
I put my hand on your cheek and cradle you against my breast. You can hear my heartbeat.
I whisper into your ear of all the promises of the world. Giving you strength where before there was none.
I stroke your face tenderly. My soul reaching into you. Finding you.
You smile, your tears dried by my love.
You feel my arms tighten around you. Holding you safe and warm.
I rest my cheek against your head and smile against your skin.
I am here, just for you. Take in my scent, let it comfort you.
Let me be your pillar and I will offer you the sky.

This is lovely, soft and gentle... the way so few are able to be.
