who am i

i'm lost...oh so lost

i've changed for the worst,and not the good

i look down at the pills that sit in my hand,

with a deep  breath i  put them in my mouth,

with out thinking i turn to you and say,

are you happy with what you made me,

you made me another you,

pill popping,alcoholic,druggy,

im not proud of what i have became,

i want to change but don't know how

Your poem relates the plight of many people caught in the whirlpool of self-destructive drug abuse. Sometimes a person will do things against their better judgement in an effort to please a friend. The hope is that when a person sees their reflection in the mirror, and concludes that they don't like what they see, they can muster up the strength and courage to change. The content of your poem is depressing and sad, but the writing is clear and understandable.
