Autumn's Essence

A Poem by Cwortknee

Her burlesque display
exposing risqué branches;
Autumn's grand reveal

Your haiku display
Exposing "budding" talent
Even in autumn;-)

Oh, goodness! Thank you. xD I think this is my first review in haiku form.
So brief, yet so much to look into. I keep reading it over and over. Every word is wonderfully placed. I'm tempted to take it apart and examine each of them but that would destroy the magic. This must be shared with the world!

Wow, thank you. You have no idea how much I appreciate such kind words. I'm flattered, really.
I love this. Its so condensed that a reading of it has to be done along with the title. They both work well with each other and you manage (i'm jealous) to get across a very vivid emotion in this poem. Great job.

I love this! Fall is my favorite season and in my head she's always been sort of flirtingly coy and then all the sudden brazen with her colors and falling leaves, your poem embodies that feeling perfectly. The first line is my favorite.

Thank you so much! The first line was the most effortless for me, and my favorite as well.
That first line is really brilliant, burlesque display, I love it... certainly my favorite season, it is a color splendor and such beautiful weather.

i'd say this is a complete poetry ... and the way you have put forth this explanation ..

This brief work demonstrates the need for the economy of words to make it work and you did that magnificently.
