Expedition

A Poem by Cwortknee

Under ominous sky
we're cast out to sea.
To undergo trial
is our destiny.
Our inferior vessel
carries us through.
Knowing our fate,
we bravely pursue.
The waters ahead
are not very forgiving..

Ultimately, that's the beauty in living.

I like this a lot, life wasn't meant to be easy, it would be boring if it was.

Well crafted deep write. Our inferior vessel indeed and that is the beauty of life.

How can one truly appreciate prosperity without first facing adversity. I can totally relate.

Thanks for taking the time to review, and well said!
blatant optimism typically gives me a nose bleed, but i like this. thick imagery, blunt, short, i dig it.

Thank you!
Indeed the beauty in living is how it hones us to become keen sailors who set forth in the vast current, where mighty wind blows. I admire your style, its like painting a whole picture. Imagery 100/100

My god... I'm am becoming a raving fan of yours... Another amazing write. How do you do it? so clean, so clear, so undeniably true, with a depth that can not be sounded (if I may use a sailors term).

100/100

I have only given that score once before and I think it was for your Autumn's Essence piece...
