soooo ineffable

soooo ineffable

A Poem by Cutmyhairplease

It’s while I part the curtains that hide

Meeting and underlying cowering shied

It’s like those men that left you behind

The ones that never look back

It’s like holding hands up to your face

Just enough to not notice you’re being replaced

And the long winded journey makes a terrible case

Easier and wittier than before

It’s when self-doubt is your boyfriend

People follow in your path

They’re quick to jump and easy to grasp

Eager to kill on your behalf

And the more they kill the more you laugh

Morose is your shadow; morose is your mind

Easier to see when they reply in kind

Close off the windows; draw back your lips

The soul is coming down-and it dips

And when you’re old and can barely leave your bed

That’s when you realize you kept it all in your head

And you never let anyone win

And now you don’t know how to begin

The poem's written in a "New-Age" genre n the most interesting or a real part of the poem's here...

"It’s like holding hands up to your face
Just enough to not notice you’re being replaced"

These two lines're the heart of this poem. The title's very unique, i've first time read such an amazing title which's further beautifully labeled the poem with much meanings of love into different different forms.
