Stranded: Chapter 2A Chapter by ErinYeah...here's the second part of Stranded....took out one part, because something wouldn't fit and it wasn't really needed.
Just then, they arrived at the ticket place. They turned their tickets and went to their seats. Luckily, the seat next to her, seat 2, was empty, but seat 3 was not. There was what looked like 100% nerd sitting by her. He was reading The 7th Return of Star Wars. “Hi, I’m Lauren.” The boy’s eyes never left his book. “ Lauren awoke with a start. The flight seemed, in a way, out of control. It was bumpy, bumpier than a normal flight. She looked back to her brothers. They were awake, but didn’t look worried. I don’t need to freak out over nothing, she thought to herself. She wanted to continue resting, but the bouncing seemed to be getting more getting more immense. She had never been on a plane before this. Did this happen a lot? A voice crackled over the intercom. Folks, due to engine issues, I’d like you all to fasten your seatbelts and put tray tables in their upright positions. Lauren fastened her seatbelt and looked around. Now, nobody was asleep. BUMP and the plane jolted. A few people screamed. Lauren looked out the window. The plane was still lurching up and down, but there was no sign of a storm. Panic rose inside her. This wasn’t from the weather; there was something wrong with the plane. The plane attendant had said it just a minute ago. Engine issues. That meant the plane wasn’t working and they were going to crash! A few more jerks sent Lauren into terror worse then she had ever felt. Then she saw it. One of the planes wings were on fire. Lauren watched in disbelief. A few seconds later, it broke off and the whole plane plummeted. Now, everyone was screaming, including Lauren. This was the end. They were going to die. Without warning, the plane reversed and turned upside down. Everything went black. © 2008 ErinAuthor's Note
