Alone in UncertaintyA Poem by Mazie
Each breath they say: "all well will come your way,"
And all they say, "you'll make it," like they knew... Yet I have doubts; how can they simply say They know The Will and what is false and true? The words cannot escape; my lips shall lie; For who can know the pain of life to go, Uncertainty I face; to live or die, As life lives on for those who do not know. But words mean naught 'til actions make a way, Alive, they fall, uncertain, in a set; To think things gone bring change for better days, Perhaps a life is more when in its death... But as for me, I ask one gift of you; To live and love that dearest life I lose.
