A Daydream

A Daydream

A Poem by Melinda Weber

I am the one, who is dancing

Along to this melody you give me.

I take your hand, I smile softly,

As I secretly wish I could tell you,

I love you.

We will meet,

 Under your mysterious intentions,

Luring me with your complicated heart.

As we stand, a truth in the dark

I devour your enticing whispers,

Swirling fantasies through my mind.

If anyone had a chance to find this heart,

It was always going to be you.

The sweetness of this pain you have given me,

Will always be the drug that runs with my blood.

The secret is out, in the winds of tomorrow

It’s written in the bone of the heart.

A roulette game, a throw of the dice

For a love made entirely of fire and ice.

"My Thought's about having a Look at Your Work, Melinda Weber"

Hey, Melinda Weber!

So you like to daydream, huh? Here's a bit of food for thought, and yes, this is a different kind of review thing, but I feel like doing something out of the ordinary.

Since you say your a day dreamer I thought I would read this one first.
Love can feel like a day dream sometimes, and daydreaming of a lover can feel like dream come true. If that makes sense? Love the poem.
