where is that feeling

where is that feeling

A Poem by Andrew Cureton

I am incomplete
Empty like the gaping abyss
It is the lack of what need
That human seed of emotion
That drives our passions to all-time highs for what we want
Love....
The essence of life
Element of humanity
A cursed metaphorical profanity to one’s mind and soul it can fill or cause a hole in the organ of love
But is this organ in our heads? In our chest? Or does it lie elsewhere deep within.......
Direction without it we are lost
But without love where are we? Is love really that hard to find? Another who is kind
Who is mine and I am theirs
Who is...?
Who?
Where does this wandering spirit lie thou who cast stones into the sea causing waves and ripples to stir in our body’s?
