The First Flight

By: Cuppie

Since the breathe of birth came to life,

As the darkness glooms over the night,

So that the newborn can take flight,

Before it knows its purpose in the mysterious world,

It must behold the savage grandness in its sight.

After the luminous, summery sun arose,

Provided the nature flourishes with its glow,

Where the gentle breeze whispers as the bird’s golden wings unfold,

When the elfin, little bird soared across the emperor’s sequined sky,

It scrutinizes the world below.
